Redfin Raises $8M Series B

Seattle-based Redfin has raised another round of funding, saying today that it raised $8M in Series B funding from Vulcan Capital, BEV Capital, The Hillman Company, and Madrona Venture Group. Peter Cochran of Vulcan and Marc Singer of BEV will join the firm's board of directors. Redfin is developing an online real estate brokerage. The firm also said that it is launching its services in the Bay Area, as it looks to expand nationwide. Redfin said that it will grow into Los Angeles and San Diego this summer, with nationwide rollout over the next year. More information »
