Lattice Semiconductor Passes Antitrust Hurdle
Hillsboro, Oregon-based Lattice Semiconductor has passed the Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust waiting period in its acquisition of Silicon Image, the company said this morning, marking a milestone in the company's acquisition efforts. Lattice Semiconductor announced the $600M deal in January. Lattice said its tender offer will expire on March 9th. Hart-Scott-Rodino allows 30 days for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Department of Justice (DOJ) to indicate if it will review a merger and acquisition deal.
