Zillow, UW Team For $10,000 Housing Hackathon
Do you have the next, big idea to use technology to help first time homebuyers buy their first house? Seattle-based Zillow and the University of Washington are behind an upcoming hackathon which will award $10,000 to the team which comes up with the best idea in the area, backed by the White House, U.S. Department of Commerce and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Zillow said its hackathon, Hack Housing: Empowering Smarter Decisions is aimed at helping to make it easier for first-time homebuyers, low-income renters and senior citizens to find a home that meets their needs. The event is February 6th through 8th.
