Amazon's Streaming Media Device Only $39, $19 For Prime
In a bid to win over consumers on the fence about Internet streaming to their televisions, Seattle-based Amazon.com rolled outi ts own, streaming media "stick", the Amazon Fire TV Stick this morning, saying it will offer up the device for only $39.00--or, only $19.00 for Amazon Prime members. The new device connects to the HDMI port of any HDTV, and lets users access streaming video on Amazon and elsewhere using their Wi-Fi connection. Amazon's new device also lets users access such popular services as Netflix, Prime Instant Video, Hulu Plus, WatchESPN, NBA Game Time, Prime Music, Pandora, Spotify, and others. The $19.00 deal for the device is only good for the next two days, and only for Amazon Prime members. The new device directly competes with Google's Chromecast device.
