Lytics Lands $7M

Portland-based Lytics, which develops digital marketing and targeting tools, said today that it has raised $7M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Comcast Ventures, and also included Rembrandt Venture Partners and Voyager Capital, plus angels Nick Brien (McCann Worldwide), Tim Kopp (ExactTarget), and Brett Queener (SmartRecruiters). Lytics said the new funds go towards product development, "aggressive" talent recruiting, and expansion. Lytics is led by James McDermott, who was previously the CEO of Storycode and also served at Webtrends. More information »
