Elemental Launches New Product

Portland-based Elemental Technologies, the developer of video transcoding and encoding software and hardware, has launched a new product it says is aimed at live-to-VOD services. According to Elemental, the new product, Elemental Delta, helps content owners and distributors manage their content in multiscreen deployments. The company is targeting customers in the telco, over-the-top TV (OTT), broadcast, satellite, and mobile market. The company said the new product specifically is for helping those customers with their time shifted services. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
