Ignition Finds More Funds For Xamarin In $54M Round

Seattle-based venture investor Ignition Partners is backing portfolio company Xamarin in a third funding round, as part of a big, $54M funding. Xamarin said today that it has raised $54M in its Series C funding, for its cross development tools. Xamarin's software allows Microsoft's C# to be used across not just Windows, but also iOS, Android, and Mac. Joining Ignition in the funding was Lead Edge Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Floodgate, and Charles River Ventures. Xamarin has raised $82.25M. Ignition has been a backer of Xamarin since 2012, as one of its original investors. More information »
