Amazon Expands In California

Seattle-based Amazon.com said today that it is opening up yet another fulfillment center, this time in California. Amazon said it is opening up its fifth fulfillment center in California, and is looking to hire 2500 people for the new, 700,000 square foot center. The center is being located in San Bernardino County, in the city of Redlands. Amazon said the new center will focus on shipping large items like big screen televisions and kayaks to customers.
