Amazon.com Extends Same Day Delivery

Seattle-based Amazon.com said this morning that it has extended its same day delivery in six more cities nationwide, adding the option in Baltimore, Dallas, Indianapolis, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington DC metro areas. The service lets consumers order products before noon, and get those product delivered the same day. Amazon.com offers up the same day service for $5.99 for Amazon Prime members, and $9.98 plus $0.99 for every additional item for non-Amazon Prime members. The same day delivery had previously only been available in Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco and Seattle.
