DesignMedix Finds $1.5M

Portland-based DesignMedix, a developer of dual-action drugs which help combat drug resistance, has raised $1.5M in a funding round, according to the company. The funding came from the Portland Seed Fund, Bellingham Angels, Oregon Angel Fund, Seraph Angel Network, Willamette Angel Conference, Keiretsu Angel Forum and Tacoma Angel Network. The company is aiming at such conditions as malaria drugs and anti-baceterial drugs, to combat drug resistance in those areas. The company is part of the PSU Business Accelerator. More information »
