Perion Buys Grow Mobile
Perion Network, the Israeli Internet company which has substantial operations in Redmond, Washington, said today that it has acquired Grow Mobile, a Silicon Valley company in the mobile advertising area. The deal is worth up ot $42M including earn out, but is initially worth $10M in cash and $7M in equity. Grow Mobile develops software to help developers buy, track, optimize, and manage user acquisition campaigns. Perion is the parent firm of Redmond-based Smilebox, where it employs a significant number of software developers and others.
