Redfin Expands In Florida

Seattle-based online real estate brokerage firm Redfin is in another expansion of its services, saying today that it has expanded in Florida, and has opened up new offices in Tampa and Orlando. Redfin said that it will offer its home buying and selling services in the two cities, on top of existing operations in Miami, West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Redfin's agents are paid not on commission but on salary. The company said that its Orlando operations will be headed by MaryDell Rose, who has thirteen years of experience in Orlando; its Tampa operations are being headed by Wendy Peterson, who has been in the market for 18 years in the insurance industry.
