Zillow Joins Real Estate Industry Group

Seattle-based Zillow said today that it has joined an industry group, the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO), to help define technology and data standards within the real estate industry. According to Zillow, RESO focuses on standardizing real estate data so that it can be used consistently by multiple listing services, vendors and third parties. Zillow said it is has been working on similar efforts to create and implement real estate data standards since it was founded.
