Maveron Re-Ups On Web, Technical Classes Provider General Assembly

Seattle-based venture investment firm Maveron is one of the returning investors in New York-bsaed General Assembly, which conducts classes on web development, Photoshop, Javascript, digital marketing, and other technical topics. General Assembly said it has raised $35M in funding, in its Series C. The new funding was led by Institutional venture Partners, and also included GSV Capital, Rethink Education, Maveron, and Western Technology Investment.
