Yapta Eyes Hotel Price Tracking
Seattle-based Yapta, which develops airfare price tracking software, said earlier this week that it has put together an advisory board to help hone its hotel price tracking efforts. According to Yapta, it has signed up a customer advisory board to help steward development of its price tracking product for corporate hotel rates. The company said it currently has a prototype of that product available. The company named several corporate users--ranging from Eisai, the Ford Foundation, to UNICEF--who are assisting the company in its development efforts. Yapta did not say when it intends to launch the hotel tracking product to a wider base of customers. Yapta's current offerings only track airfare.
