Yapta Signs Travel Management Provider CWT

Seattle-based airfare and hotel tracking software developer Yapta said on Tuesday that it is providing its price tracking technology to CWT (Carlson Wagonlit Travel), to help CWT streamline the process of rebooking tickets for its customers. Financial details of the new, long-term agreement were not announced. According to Yapta, its price tracking products, FareIQ and RoomIQ, will be combined into CWT's Price Tracking offerings. Yapta's software automatically identifies and re-books flights and hotels when prices change. Yapta says companies using its FareIQ product are saving more than 11 percent on their air travel itineraries; the company says customers using RoomIQ save around 12 percent on their hotel bookings.
