Tektronix Buys Picosecond Pulse Labs

Beaverton, Oregon-based Tektronix said last week that it has acquired Picosecond Pulse Labs, a developer of ultra-high speed pattern generators used for network testing. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Picosecond Pulse Labs--which was based in Boulder, Colorado--develops ultra-high-speed pattern generators which are used for testing 100G/400G data communications equipment, optical equipment, and more--all of which work with Tek's high speed oscilloscopes.
