UIEvolution Gets $8M From Intel, Others For Connected Car Efforts
Seattle-based UIEvolution said this morning that it has raised $8M in a funding round, led by Intel Capital and Shaw Ventures. The company--which makes connected car software used to make Internet apps avaliable in auotmobiles--said the funding will go towards both its automotive products and bolstering its products in the retail, restaurant, hospitality and cruise industries. Marc Yi of Intel Capital joins the company's board with the funding.
