UIEvolution Ties Into Samsung

Kirkland-based UIEvolution, a developer of mobile application software, said this morning that it has launched a new product specifically targeted at Samsung's TouchWiz touchscreen phones. According to UIEvolution, its new Samsung Widget SDK--developed in conjunction with Samsung--allows developers to create connected, mobile apps on the Samsung phones. The firm said the plug-in connects into the popular Eclipse development environment, and includes code templates and sample projects taking advantage of Samsung's APIs for its mobile phones. UIEvolution is backed by Intel and Itochu.
