Opscode Raises $32M, Renames Itself Chef

Seattle-based Opscode, the developer of enterprise, IT automation tools, has renamed itself Chef, and raised $32M more in funding, the company said this morning. According to Chef, the Series D funding round was led by Scale Venture Partners, and also included Citi Ventures, Battery Ventures, DFJ, and Ignition Partners, along with Amplify Partners. Rory O'Driscoll of ScaleVP joins the company's board with the funding.
