F5 Networks Powers New Verizon Cloud

Seattle-based Internet traffic management hardware developer F5 Networks reported this morning that its hardware has been selected by Verizon, to power Verizon's new cloud computing service, Verizon CLoud. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. F5 said its BIG-IP products are being used as part of the new Verizon infrastructure-as-a-service platform, which is aimed at enterprise customers.
