ActiveBuilding Acquired By RealPage

Seattle-based ActiveBuilding, which develops a community portal and platform around the life of apartments residents, has been acquired by RealPage, a developer of apartment and rental management software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RealPage said that ActiveBuilding will continue to be based in Seattle, and that it plans to expand the offices there. ActiveBuilding develops a community portal product aimed at the life of apartments residents, handling everything from messaging apartment residents, tracking package deliveries, letting residents network with each other in an online community, and provide offers and links to local businesses. ActiveBuilding was led by Kobi Benisom.
