Porch Aims To Raise $27.7M In New Funding Effort

Newly launched, Seattle home improvement information site Porch is in the midst of a big fundraising round, looking to raised $27.7M in funding, according to a regulatory filing by the company last week. That filing says that the company has so far raised $8.2M in its new funding round. Porch has a long list of prominent angel investors, including SV Angel, Jeff Skoll, and Chamath Palihapitiya. Porch was founded by CEO Matt Ehrlichman and CTO Eric Schleicher, and came out of Matt's efforts to remodel his house in Seattle. More information »
