Porch's Service Gives You The Scoop On Your Neighbor's Remodeling Project

The latest real estate oriented startup to emerge out of Seattle is hoping to let you get a glance into your neighbor's latest home remodeling project--including how much they paid, before and after pictures, and the names of their contractors. Porch, led by Matt Ehrlichman, said today that it has launched its site, letting you see over 90 million home imporvement projects from 1.5 million local professionals. The new startup is backed by Silicon Valley angel investors, and raised $6.25M in a seed funding earlier this year. According to Porch, its home improvement network has just launched nationwide, and has data on 75 percent of U.S. homes.
