EA: Plants vs. Zombies 2 Biggest Mobile Launch Ever

The PopCap franchise, Plants vs. Zombies, keeps on going strong, as Electronic Arts reported today that the latest title in the franchise--Plants vs. Zombies 2--has just become EA's biggest mobile game launch ever. EA said that Plants vs. Zombies 2 had over 16 million downloads, less than a week after hitting Apple's App Store. The new title runs on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and is free. EA said the number of downloads makes it the most successful mobile game launch ever, in EA's history. EA bought PopCap back in 2011.
