iovation Upgrades Fraud Identification Service
Portland-based iovation, which develops an online database to help combat Internet fraud and abuse, has launched an upgraded version of the company's flagship software. The company said Tuesday that it has launched a new set of features for its ReputationManager 360 service, which keeps tabs on devices to help identify those most likely to result in fraud for online merchants and businesses. The company said the upgraded service includes new compound business rules, ability to detect PCs posing as mobile devices, ways to trigger phone verification on accounts when a new device attempts to access those, and much more. iovation's database of Internet devices are used to help sort through and detect the machines which are being used for fraud, across multiple businesses.
