UIEvolution Deploys On Princess Cruises

Seattle-based UIEvolution, which develops mobile user interface software, is powering a new system for cruise line Princess Cruises. According to the firm, Princess Cruises is deploying its technology as part of a new "Guest Evolution" service on the new Royal Princess cruise ship. The platform powers the live television, ship channels, and video- and music-on demand on the new liner, in addition to the digital signs on the ship. UIEvolution said the new system was engineered, installed and commissioned by Harbour Marine Systems. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
