LivingSocial Shutters Seattle Office

Online daily deals site LivingSocial--which is backed by Amazon.com--is closings its Seattle office, according to multiple reports Monday. LivingSocial's office in Seattle had housed a wide range of LivingSocial employees. The cuts come as LivingSocial, as well as daily deals competitor Groupon, have seen a sharp downturn in their business after saturation of that market by many, daily deals competitors and dissatisfaction in the model from retailers.
