Seattle Residents Sue LivingSocial.com Over Expiration Dates

Two Seattle residents have sued daily deals and coupon site LivingSocial.com, the site backed by Amazon.com, over expiration dates printed on the firm's vouchers. According to a report from the Seattle PI, the lawsuit was filed earlier this week in the U.S. District Court in Seattle. Washington State law prohibits expiration dates and similar restrictions on gift cards. Amazon.com recently invested $175M in LivingSocial, which is a major competitor to daily deals site Groupon.
