TripAdvisor Acquires Jetsetter.com

Tripadvisor, the online hotel and travel review site which was spun out of Expedia back in 2011, said today that it has acquired Jetsetter.com, an online private sale site for hotel bookings. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Jetsetter was based in New York City, and becomes part of TripAdvisor's Smarter Travel Media. TripAdvisor is based in Massachusetts, and until November 2011 was part of Expedia. Expedia still supplies over 26% of revenues to Tripadvisor.
