TechStars Opens Apps For New Seattle Class

TechStars Seattle, the high tech startup accelerator which is headed up locally by Andy Sack, said Friday morning that it has opened up applications for its 2013 TechStars Seattle class. The accelerator--which puts startup founders through an intense, three month program to help define, prove out, prototype, and fund their startup--said this year will be the fourth for the program in Seattle. TechStars has an office on South Lake Union. TechStars has been among the most successful programs in the country for getting startups off the group and funded by venture capital firms or to the next stage. The group's three month model has been widely adopted nationwide as a model for how to run an accelerator program.
