Appature Acquired By IMS Health

Seattle-based healthcare software-as-a-services startup Appature, which is led by Kabir Shahani, has been acquired by IMS Health. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced, however, the deal has been placed at over $100M. IMS Health is a provider of data services for healthcare services, tracking prescription trends and information. Appature was venture backed by Ignition Partners and Madrona Venture Group, and had raised $9.6M in two round of funding.
