NameJet Wins Spot On .MENU

Kirkland, Wash.-based NameHet, which operates an online, domain name auction site, is one of the companies which will power the new top level domain (TLD) .MENU, according to firm WhatBox?. WhatBox? said it has applied to manage the top level domain .MENU, and has tapped NameJet and Afternic to handle the initial launch of the new TLD. WhatBox? said the new .MENU TLD is aimed at restaurants and food enthusiasts. Financial details of the partnership were not announced by the companies. NameJet is a joint venture of Demand Media and Web.com.
