DreamBox Learning Sets CFO

Bellevue-based Dreambox Learning, the developer of educational and math software for the elementary school market, has set a new CFO, the firm said today. The company said it has named Peter Biere as its Chief Financial Officer. Biere was formerly a partner at Gottschalk Hardesty and CFO of GlobalScholar; he also has erved at Zones.com, Locate Networks, Evergren Collateral COnsulting, and Lumera Corporation (GigOptix). DreamBox is venture backed by Reed Hastings, John Doerr, Deborah Quazzo, and GSV Capital Corp.
