Hark Licenses Content From Associated Press
Hark, the online sound bite sharing site headed by David Aronchick, said Tuesday that it has inked an agreement with The Associated Press (AP), to gain access to both current and archived audio and photo content from the organization. According to Hark, the deal gives it acess to more than 100 years of audio and photo content from the AP's library. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Hark said the move will allow it to provide clips for such things as World War II broadcasts, presidential debates, as well as sporting events. Hark said the move would also provide the AP with a new revenue stream.
