PhatWare Debuts Notetaking Software For Microsoft Surface
Spokane-based software developer PhatWare, which develops handwriting recognition software, said today that it has released a version of its software specifically for Windows 8/RT, and the Microsoft Surface tablet. The firm said its software allows users to take notes and collaborate with others, using handwriting. PhatWare's PHatPad note-taking and collaboration app uses handwriting technology to allow users to brainstorm and take notes, drawing and writing on the Surface and other Windows-based computers, and then sending them to others via email or Dropbox. PhatWare said the new software is available for $4.99 in the Windows Store.
