PhatWare Updates Android App
Spokane-based Phatware, a developer of mobile applications and software, said today that it has updated its Android application, WritePad for Android. The software, which allows users to replace the Android on-screen keyboard with a handwriting recognition interface, said its upgraded software "Vastly improves" text input with the software. The software runs on Android tablets and phones, such as the Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab, HTC Inspire. PhatWare said its app analyzes pen strokes written in a number of different languages, and then converts those into text, which it sends to applications on the phone or tablet.
