AppFog Adds More Third Party Partners

Portland-based platform-as-a-service (PaaS) provider AppFog is continuing to expand links to third party app providers, saying Tuesday that it has added Xeround and Logentries to its service. Xeround is a provider of database-as-a-service tools, and Logentries provides a service which helps manage log data for users. AppFog, which is headed by Lucas Carlson, develops platforms which make it easier for companies to deploy cloud-based applications. The firm is backed by Ignition Partners, First Round Capital and Madrona.
