Concur Invests In Hotel Software Provider Nor1
Redmond-based travel and expense management software provider Concur has funded the developer of software which helps hotels and resorts upsell their products to customers. According to Nor1, which is based in Santa Clara, California, it raised $9M in a Series B funding from Concur, part of a strategic deal with Concur to include its products in its eStandby Upgrade product. The two also have agreed to integrate Nor1's products with Concur's TripIt mobile travel software. Concur has been very active in the last year in investments, having created its own $150M venture capital fund called the Concur Perfect Trip Fund. That fund is focused on the cloud-based, travel and expense market, and has invested in such companies as buuteeq, Cleartrip, Evature, Room 77, TaxiMagic and Yapta. More information »
