Yapta Gets Funding From Concur
Seattle-based airfare and hotel price tracking service Yapta has just scored $5M in a strategic investment from Redmond-based Concur, the firms said today. According to Concur, the investment comes as part of an alliance where Concur will exclusively use Yapta's airfare price tracking and price assurance services for its TripIt Pro users. The deal also will include exploration of other opportunites for integrating Yapta's services. Yapta, which is headed by Tim Romary, allows users to track airline and hotel prices, helping users to predict the best times to buy airfare and also apply for refunds when fare prices drop after booking.
