Airbiquity Wins Sprint
Seattle-based Airbiquity, the provider of wireless communications technology for the vehicle market, has been selected by Sprint for a new "connected vehicle" product. SPrint said it has selected Airbiquity, and will use the Airbiquity Choreo service to power its Sprint Velocity product for vehicle manufacturers. The two did not detail financial aspects of the deal. Sprint's new service helps wireless connect vehicles in areas such as smart grid and electric vehicle management, as well as other areas.
