X2IMPACT Wins NFL Teams
Seattle-based X2IMPACT, a developer of monitoring devices used in sports to measure the force of head impacts, reported today that it is in an agreement with the National Football League. The company said that certain teams of the NFL will use the firm's Concussion Management System (CMS) software application. Financial terms of the win were not detailed. X2IMPACT develops both devices and software for tracking and detecting possible concussions for sports players, based on using monitors in those players' mouth guards. X2IMPACT said that so far, sixteen NFL teams have signed up to use the software. The firm raised funding from Kodiak Financial Group back in February. X2IMPACT is looking to help stop issues with concussions across youth, high school, NCAA and professional contact sports.
