PopCap Sets Plants vs. Zombies Sequel Date

Seattle-based gamemaker PopCap Games, which is now part of EA, said this morning that it is set to release a sequel to its popular Plants vs. Zombies game in the first half of 2013. The company said the sequel will feature a "bevy of new features, settings, and situations". Plants vs. Zombies is one of the more popular titles in PopCap's lineup, although not as popular as Bejeweled. The firm did not say what platforms the title will first be released on.
