eMagin Scores $2.4M Contract

Bellevue-based eMagin, the developer of microdisplay technology, reported this morning that it has scored a $2.4M contract win with the U.S. Navy. eMagin said the contract will go towards research and development of a high-brightness, 2,000 x 2,000 pixel OLED microdisplay, aimed at developing very high brightness displays in such environments as aircraft cockpits. The contract is part of the Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) OLED program.
