AppFog Launches Platform Into General Availability
Portland-based AppFog, the developer of platform-as-a-service which helps develops deploy their apps into the cloud, said Thursday that it has released its platform into general availability (GA). AppFog also announced its pricing scheme for its service, saying that it will charge users by the amount of RAM needed by users. AppFog's platform-as-a-service makes it easier for customers to deploy cloud-based software, particularly for apps based on JavLucas Carlson. AppFog said its accounts will be free for up to 2GB oa, .NET, Node.js, Python, PHP, and Ruby. The firm is led by f RAM, with 4GB costing $100 a month, 16GB at $380 a month, and other pricing for increasing increments of memory.
