Itron Deploys In Turkey

Liberty Lake, Washington-based smart meter maker Itron said Wednesday that it has scored a contract with Turkey's largest private gas utility, AKSA, to deploy more than 745,000 gas meters for that utility. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Itron said it has been serving the Turkish market since 2002.
