Northwest Energy Angels Invests $1.1M Across Six Startups
The Northwest Energy Angels reported Thursday afternoon that the angel investment group has invested $1,132,000 across six, clean technology companies in the first half of the year. The investment group said that it has invested in Pacific Light Technologies in Portland; Indow Windows, also in Portland; Greenwood Clean Energy in Bellevue; Verlitics in Portland, FluxDrive in Sumner, and Seattle's Green Canopy Homes. The group said its average investment was worth approximately $200,000. The group said it expects to surpass its prior investment record, set last year, of $1.3M invested in companies.
