TappIn Powers QNAP
Seattle-based Tappin, the developer of storage sharing software, which is now part of GlobalSCAPE, is announcing this morning that it is partnering with NAS storage provider QNAP. According to the two, they are in a partnership where TappIn's software will be available to QNAP customers, using its NAS devices. TappIn's software makes it easy for users to share their storage to the cloud, accessing their own personal data from their PC, remote computers, mobile devices, and other platforms. TappIn's software allows a person's personal storage to behave much as cloud storage services do, with available across the Internet. No financial details of the deal were announced.
