Amazon Web Services Drops Support Pricing, Expands Free Support

Seattle-based Amazon Web Services announced this morning that it is expanding its free support for its customers, and dropping pricing on its premium support plans. According to Amazon, it has revamped its service plans, including renaming all of its support options, providing automated alerts to help customer save money or improve their use of the service, and more. Amazon's various premium support plans provide better response times on cases, direct access to support engineers through email and phone, and more. Among the changes are also shifts in its usage-based support tiers.
