ACDSee Enhances CAD Software

Seattle-based software firm ACDsee said today that it has launched updates to two if its graphics editing products, Canvas 14 and Canvas 14 +GIS, targeted at the CAD market. ACD said the updated software products provide all of the capabilities of Adobe's popular product suite at a "fraction of the price", and can be used by engineers and designers to draw and edit CAD data to turn them into creative illustrations. Among enhancements to the software are new sharing capabilities, annotation tools, and more.
